Celestial Power

Introduction

Celestial Craft is a unique mod that at this time uses a different source of power. It uses what is known as Celestial Power. So what exactly is Celestial Power? Celestial Power is a 1:1 ratio with relation to your experience. The higher your experience the more Celestial Power you have. Why experience? Well in making the mod I decided to do something different. Many mods have Magic or Mana or some other form of resource and they are all amazing. I decided to go a different route. A player's EXP is always changing. Celestial Craft is based off of the Anime Fairy Tail. In it are what is known as Celestial Spirit Wizards. They can use Celestial Magic and the power comes from their own Stamina and Strength. So what better way to replicate that in Minecraft without creating a whole new resource. Could have I created a Celestial Power meter? Or some type of gauge. Sure I could have but I wanted to be different. So I decided on EXP.

The higher your EXP the stronger your Magic thus the stronger your minions. Yes, I said minions.

Celestial Power - In Depth

There really is no science to it. Your Celestial Power is equal to your current EXP. However the calculations come into play via a variety of different things in the mod. Many of the features in Celestial Craft rely on your power. This is what makes the mod so dynamic. Minions, which I will get into later, have strength determined by their Master's Celestial Energy. The higher your level the stronger your minions. However there is a trade-off. You are a Celestial Spirit Mage. Summoning Celestial entities take a toll on your power levels. Keeping the entities out also drain your power. So what does that mean. That means so long as you have your Minions summoned your power will be constantly drained until there is none left. Once your power reaches zero the minions retreat back to the Celestial Dimension.
